27th April - 4th May

The Light Fund London To Paris Row 2019
The Licensing Industry takes to the seas in the latest major challenge raising funds for The Light Fund. Rowing an open six-man gig from Tower Bridge to the Eiffel Tower, the event will comprise three legs:
  • Tower Bridge to Ramsgate which will be circa 16 hours – 27th April
  • Ramsgate to Le Havre, crossing the English Channel over circa 2 days - 28th/29th April
  • Le Havre to the Eiffel Tower, rowing down the Seine over circa 4 days  - 30th April – 4th May
Due to variables such as weather and tides, timings are approximate.
Crews will operate in two groups of six with one group rowing for two hours whilst the other group rests on the escort boats, before switching… this will be repeated to ensure the gig is continually moving throughout the event with the exception of a brief landfall at Ramsgate and Le Havre.

The current crew list includes: Rob Corney, Graham Saltmarsh, Marise Tallon-Gevaux, Jason Goonery, Sion Aykroyd, Sam Coates, Adam Robson, Jenny Honeyball, Rob Broadhurst, Sam Ferguson, Elliott Matthews, Ben Harrison, James Kyte, Matt French.

The L2P crew aim to raise circa £50k for the Light Fund through this event and any companies looking to take advantage of the many sponsorship opportunities available should get in touch on robc@bulldog-licensing.com
