The Light Fund rocks!

Industry veteran Kelvyn Gardner is managing the band founded by his daughter, Regan. Ryker Sear’s debut single, Just like You, is out now for digital download from all the usual sites, but with a £500 bonus on offer to the Light Fund, the band is asking licensing industry music fans to download it from Amazon.co.uk on 5th and 6th March.

Ryker Sear’s music falls in Amazon’s rock category, and Kelvyn has pledged £250 to the Light Fund if the single reaches the top ten in the Amazon rock chart, and £500 if it gets to number one. It will only take a couple of hundred downloads (at a bargain 79p!) in a short time period to zoom the song right to the top! The idea comes from the successful campaign to get RATM to top the Christmas single chart. Ryker Sear have been compared to Blondie and were once memorably described as ‘Katy Perry meets Led Zeppelin’. They’ve also been compared to current rock success Paramore.  Rock fans should love the single, but even if it’s not your style, download it for a mate and help raise half-a-grand for the Light Fund!
